Free licenses for other non-commercial uses
A Hobby License is one of several ways to use SmartGit free of charge. Other categories include:
- Students & education: Students and employees of public educational institutions can apply with their educational email address.
- Open-source development: Developers who spend the majority of their development work on eligible open-source projects can apply. Occasional unpaid contributors may qualify for a Hobby License.
- Charitable organizations: Eligible public charitable organizations working in philanthropy, health research, education, or social well-being can apply.
Each category has its own eligibility requirements and verification. Find the right free license for your use case.
